OMG hey. Are you awake? I literally just finished playing Block Logic and I can’t sleep now, my brain is still buzzing. Seriously, I know your friend Dave told me it was "an interesting game of moving bricks to build a wall. Drag the bricks to build the wall. The bricks in two adjacent layers up and down should not have their joints aligned, except for the left and right sides. You will win when you have used up all the bricks." But honestly, that description is like calling pizza "bread with toppings." It’s technically true but it misses EVERYTHING that makes it special.
So, I downloaded it, thinking it would be kinda boring, just some chill thing to pass time. The first few levels I was like, what even IS this? I kept trying to just stack the blocks neatly, but then it kept telling me "joint violation" or something. I was so confused, like, why can’t I just put this block here? But then, it clicked. It’s not about building a neat wall, it’s about making a *strong* wall. You can’t just plop one brick right on top of another seam, you gotta stagger them, like real construction.
And that’s when it got really good. Like, really, really good. It’s kinda like a 3D Tetris mixed with Jenga, but way more satisfying. There’s this little *thunk* sound when a piece locks perfectly into place, and it just feels so right. I started playing around 9 PM, thinking I’d do like, ten minutes. Next thing I know, my phone screen brightens up and it’s 1 AM. I totally lost track of time!
I'm not usually into these super brainy puzzle games, your more into the action stuff, but this one is different. It’s not just figuring out where to put a piece, it’s like, thinking three steps ahead. Like, on that one stage with the weird L-shaped pieces, I spent forever trying to fit them in, then I realized if I just turned the whole thing around in my head, a completely different solution opened up. It’s like a lightbulb went off.
Honestly, I was thinking about it at work today, trying to figure out how I’d solve that one tricky stage. I even told my cousin Mark about it already, he’s gonna download it. Because it’s just so clever. It’s not flashy, the colors are simple, but it makes your brain work in a way that’s actually fun. You seriously have to try it.
