Sweet Paws' Epic Journey

OMG you awake? I literally just finished Sweet Paws' Epic Journey and I can't sleep. It's like, 11 PM and my brain is still buzzing.

Remember how I told you what that guy said about it? Like, "super exhausting journey," "obstacles everywhere," "collect all the food," "reach the doghouse"? Honestly, that description is so wrong it's almost funny. It's like describing a really good movie as "people talking for two hours." Technically true, but completely misses the point.

This game is SO much more than that. Like, it's not about just getting to the doghouse. It's about how Doggo and Mittens actually *work together*. And not just like "oh, press a button to open a door." It's deeper than that.

The first time I played, I thought it was gonna be some frustrating platformer, but then I got to this part where Mittens, the cat, had to climb this really tall, rickety fence. Doggo, the dog, couldn't climb it, obviously. But then I figured out that Doggo could dig a tunnel *under* a fallen log on the other side, and Mittens could jump on the log, and push a big, wobbly rock down for Doggo to use as a step. It wasn't just about their different skills, it was about like, seeing the world from their eyes. Doggo's perspective is all about the ground and smells, and Mittens is all about height and squeezing into tiny spaces.

And the "obstacles" aren't just things to avoid. They're like, little puzzles that make you feel really smart when you figure them out. There was this one part where Doggo had to bark at a grumpy squirrel to distract it so Mittens could sneak past and grab a key. It was so cute, and the little "woof woof" sound Doggo made when he barked, it made me smile.

I was only gonna play for an hour, but then I looked at the clock and it was like, three hours later. I didn't even notice the time passing. It's not exhausting at all, it's actually really calming and clever. Your brain is working, but it's not stressful. And the music is so sweet and chill.

I don't usually like puzzle games that much, but this one is different. It's less about collecting every single piece of food (though you do that) and more about the journey and how these two become like, actual best friends. You really feel like your helping them build something.

You HAVE to play it. I already told my cousin Leo about it, and he's super picky. Seriously, it's really good. Really, really good. Let me know when your free, I can tell you more. My brain needs to shut down now, lol.
