Dude, you awake? Sorry, it's 11 PM but I literally cannot stop thinking about this game I just played. Word Stack! Remember that description someone sent us? "Drag letters and create words to complete each level." Man, that's like describing pizza as "bread with toppings." Technically true, but completely missing what makes it special.
Honestly, I almost didn't play it. I thought it was just another boring word search thing. But then I opened it up, and it's not just making words. Like, the letters are in a stack, right? And when you use letters to make a word, they disappear, and the ones above them *fall down*. That's the whole trick! You have to think about what letters are going to drop and how they'll line up for your *next* word. It’s like, way more strategic than I expected.
I got stuck on this one puzzle, level 14 I think, for ages. It had a bunch of 'Q's and 'Z's just sitting there, blocking everything. I was like, "how am I ever gonna use these?" Then I realized I could make "QUIZ" on the top row, and it cleared just enough space for a 'U' to fall next to an 'S' and a 'T' and I finally got "DUST" and the whole thing just collapsed perfectly. It felt so good, like a little mental high five. There’s this super satisfying little *clink* sound when letters lock into place, too.
